Responsible for
economic balance

As with all living organisms, in order to survive and endure, a business must find the means to develop and fulfil its mission, with everyone working in harmony towards the same goals.

We are a well-established and important economic presence in the Médoc, and we have experienced great success because our teams have achieved miracles in terms of quality and standards over the past 30 years.

But our environment has changed and is being transformed at an incredible rate, and to continue working miracles our technical installations need to be modernised and adapted. From a financial and strategic point of view, we are at an important turning point. Making a success of this growth phase, making it work for everyone, is our responsibility. For the future of the business, for our employees and partners, and for the satisfaction of our customers.

And the purchasing power of the consumer?

"What characterises Vignobles de Larose is that whatever the wine, we pledge to offer the best value wines on the market, with products tailored to different budgets. It may be 10, 20, or 40 euros a bottle, but our concept, what we insist upon, is one of quality and value, of making the best accessible."

"Our strength lies in our promotion of well-being and meaning in the workplace, we help people to develop their skills, to progress, we invite them to be part of a collective project."

An evolution in the market?

"People are drinking less and less, but better and better. The Bordeaux that used to be bought in cases of 12 for laying down, that’s history, just for a minority. It’s for us to adapt to new tastes and modes of purchasing. We’re sure of our wines, we know they are excellent in every way, and we’re proud of them. It’s up to us to work on our communication and distribution to make sure the message gets across, and maintain our presence."

Olivier Fargeot, commercial director

Jobs and salaries?

"We need a skilled workforce, which is becoming increasingly scarce because we are coming to the end of a generation. Financially, we can’t compete on salaries with our Classified Grand Cru neighbours. It’s our biggest challenge going forward. Our strength lies in our promotion of well-being and meaning in the workplace, we help people to develop their skills, to progress, we invite them to be part of a collective project, to contribute and develop leadership qualities, whatever their job. It’s a vision that has a future, we are certain of it, but we have to rise to the challenge of convincing others, every day."
